I really wanted to give this hotel 5 stars because it was VERY nice and we really enjoyed our stay, but it lacked a couple of small things which I'll explain. We stayed 2 nights so we could attend the NHRA drag race on Friday. It was a lovely hotel close to the sister city Bristol, TN, only 20 minutes away. The room was beautiful and very clean, especially the carpets! (I have had issues with dirty carpets in hotels in the past.) We had a lovely, comfortable king-sized bed, large tv and a nice stylish chair & footstool in addition to a desk & chair. The room was beautiful. The bathroom was clean and looked newly done. I have no idea how old the hotel is, but everything was clean. There was a refrigerator that wasn't exactly cold and there was no way to adjust it, but there was an ice machine just around the corner from our room, so we used our cooler to keep our drinks cold. There wasn't a microwave in the room, which we didn't exactly need, but we had some leftovers from dinner, and it would have been nice to warm them up later. There was a coffee maker in the room, as the hotel lobby did not offer complimentary hot water or coffee because there was a Starbucks across the checking desk. I just needed hot water for a cup of tea and didn't bother with the coffee maker. There was no breakfast offered with the stay, but there were plenty of choices nearby. The location was convenient to everything we needed. I never stayed in a Courtyard before, so I consider the cost a bit pricey. It may have been the dates we stayed as many drivers & pit crew were there also. I'm not sure when this hotel was built, but everything looked new.
